The Vessi Soho Sneaker makes a strong first impression with its vegan leather upper, which is surprisingly soft and not stiff like some non-vegan alternatives, such as the Adidas Stan Smiths. The shoe’s minimalist silhouette is beautifully simple, free of large branding, and features a chunky sole—a trendy style element that adds a fashionable touch. But the most striking aspect of the Soho Sneaker is its weight: it’s shockingly light, creating an experience unlike any other. I’ve never owned a shoe this lightweight, and it felt incredibly comfortable right out of the box.

The shoe’s lightweight construction, paired with a cushioned sole, makes it an instant favorite. However, I do have concerns about durability due to how featherlight it is. Despite this, the vegan leather is easy to clean, making it practical for everyday wear. The toe box is medium to wide, offering a friendly fit for wider feet when ordered in the right size.

The unique blue sole adds a playful pop of color, distinguishing it from most other sneakers. Fit-wise, it’s true to size; my foot is 10.5 inches long, and I went with a size 10, which left about a half-inch of space at the toe. The internal length of the size 10 is around 11.25 inches. The lockdown is excellent, thanks to the waterproof lining and padded tongue, which made it easy to secure without over-tightening the laces.

While I haven’t tested the waterproof claims yet, at $150, the Vessi Soho Sneaker is a strong contender in the market. If it holds up as well as it feels, it’ll be a long-term favorite for me.
